That sounded like a tall order, so I thought I’d take a closer look. Is My Bikini Belly a scam?

Of course, the only thing that matters in the end is if what you receive will help you lose weight.

The My Bikini Belly Quick Start Guide simply outlines the overall plan, which is to follow a special 3 day diet, and repeat it 7 times over the 21 day period. Of course, you’ll also be engaging in workouts during this time, as the 12 workout videos are intended to cover the three week period, as well.

The Flush, Burn, and Blast books each cover one day of your 3 day diet.

The My Bikini Belly Flush book covers Day 1, where you’ll be flushing toxins out of your body. Don’t worry; you won’t be starving yourself. Each meal you eat during Day 1 will include some protein and some veggies. The book includes lists of “acceptable” proteins and vegetables, as well as a long list of foods that aren’t acceptable. These include grains, dairy, and sugars. The My Bikini Belly Flush book includes recipes to help you get through the day, such as the Tomato Parmesan Scramble.

The My Bikini Belly Burn book covers Day 2, and your diet on Day 2 is designed to have you eat “fat burning” proteins, vegetables and carbs. As with Day 1, foods to eat and avoid are listed, along with some tasty recipes to help you prepare meals for your fat burning day. These recipes include such things as Shrimp Fried Rice and Ginger Beef Stir Fry.

Each day of the 3 day plan also involves a 12 hour period of fasting as well as consumption of a lot of liquid, with water suggested as the best choice. You’ll repeat this three day program seven times for a total of 21 days.

The 12 workout videos run between about five minutes and 20 minutes, and the nice thing about the workouts that are shown are that you won’t have to have any special equipment to do them. That’s nice, as many workout plans do require that you belong to a gym or at least have access to weights and a bench.

The workouts in the accompanying exercise library do require such equipment, so if you belong to a gym, you’re all set. Otherwise, you might start shopping around for some weights and a bench.

The quality of the workout videos is quite good, so you won’t have any trouble following the exercises. Shawna discusses how each exercise works, while someone else goes through the motions to show you how it’s done.

All in all, the My Bikini Belly plan offers a good mix of diet and exercise, which will provide most people with the best path to weight loss and a flat belly. Many programs I’ve reviewed cover only the diet or only the exercise, but the two go hand in hand. If you want the best results, you’ll make the effort to eat a sensible diet while also working out to burn off those calories.

No, it’s a solid, well-written book that offers good advice for both diet as well as some detailed videos for helping you exercise through the three week program. The recipes are easy to prepare and look to be quite tasty, and the exercises will definitely keep you busy. I’d have preferred a single volume instead of seven books to download, but that’s a minor quibble, especially since the My Bikini Belly course is so affordable in the first place.
