paleo reboot free book reviewTrying to lose weight? Lots of people are, and one of the methods that’s quite popular these days is the Paleo diet. That particular diet involves eating only foods that were available in the Paleolithic era. Times were different then and we had no cultivated grains, no processed foods and no sugar or dairy in our diets. People then were lean and hardy, and this popular new diet plan suggests that you can lose weight and get fit.

One popular diet product in that niche is Paleo Reboot, and they’re giving away a free weight loss book called Paleo Beginners Guide. It’s free (plus shipping costs) and the book was a New York Times bestseller. It’s hard to beat free, but is the Paleo Beginners Guide worthwhile even at that price? I decided to take a closer look and check it out to see if the good folks at Paleo Reboot are offering a good deal or not.

Paleo Reboot Free Book Overview

Ordinarily, when you’re getting a free book, I’m pretty skeptical. I’ve given away a few free books in my time, and most of them, I’ll admit, were pretty short and not big on substance. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the book offered via the Paleo Reboot promotion, called Paleo Beginners Guide, was quite substantial.

It’s a real book, too, available as a physical book, shipped to your door. You just pay a modest cost for shipping, and if you like, they’ll give you a digital copy, too.

paleo reboot 2Like I said, the book is pretty substantial, and comes in at roughly 175 pages. The idea behind the Paleo Beginners Guide is to give you an overview of what the weight loss plan is about, and to give you an interest in their other product, the 21 Day Paleo Reboot program.

The 175 pages isn’t fluff, either. The Paleo Beginners Guide is divided into three sections:

  • Getting Started
  • Putting the Paleo Diet Meal Plan into Action
  • Paleo Diet Recipes

The first section outlines what the Paleo diet is all about, and what it is and what it is not. Basically, the diet is about embracing the sorts of foods that man had available thousands of years ago, while avoiding more modern items. That means that you’ll have plenty of meat, in the form of naturally raised chicken, beef, or fish. You’ll have plenty of vegetables as well as some fruit. You’ll be able to eat lots of nuts and seeds.

What you won’t be eating are dairy, grains and legumes, processed fats, processed foods, and sugars and artificial sweeteners. Back when man had to forage for his meals, he ate what was available. That doesn’t mean that the diet is unhealthy, however. On the contrary, the diet consists of lots of vegetables, nuts and fruit, with modest amounts of meat.

paleo reboot weight lossWhat you’re not eating are some of the more modern foods that are loaded with calories but which have little in the way of nutritional content. Sugars and complex carbs are to be avoided. The Paleo diet is one where instead of struggling to lose weight, you should be able to lose weight naturally simply be eating the foods that you should naturally be eating.

The next section of this free Paleo Reboot book outlines how you should put this system to work for you. You’ll get some shopping tips, so that you can stock your pantry with the right foods, and some restaurant tips, so you can enjoy the occasional meal out while avoiding foods that might trip you up.

After that, the Paleo Beginners Guide will walk you through a sample menu for the 28 day program, providing day by day suggested meals, as well as the recipes to prepare them.

The meals that you see in this free Paleo Reboot book don’t read like “diet” meals, either. Here’s a sample menu from one day of the diet:

  • Maple-fennel breakfast sausage with scrambled eggs

  • Cuban pulled pork on a bed of greens

  • Halibut steaks with salsa verde and Blueberry Macadamia Squares for dessert

Does that sound like “diet food” to you? I’m guessing not, and the meals for every day in the 28 day plan in this free Paleo Reboot book are very similar. They’re ambitious, tasty, and easy to prepare, with many taking just 10 minutes or so to put together. All of the recipes are included, and they provide some great insights into how you can eat well while still embracing the Paleo diet.

Yes, it takes some adjustment to eliminate such things as dairy and sugar from your diet, but lots of people have gone Paleo and swear by it. The nice thing about Paleo Beginners Guide, however, is that it gives you a great opportunity to try this weight loss program without having to spend a lot of money. If you think it’s working for you, then you might want to investigate the Paleo Reboot program, too.

Pros and Cons of the Paleo Reboot Paleo Beginners Guide

  • Well written, with good overview of the diet program
  • Easy to prepare, tasty recipes
  • The book is free (shipping is extra)

  • No photos of the meals
  • Exercise is required in this weight loss program

Paleo Reboot Free Book Summary

paleo reboot free book- thumbs upLike I said, I was quite impressed with the heft and the substance found in the Paleo Beginners Guide. This free book from Paleo Reboot offers a good and thorough introduction to the Paleo diet, a complete outline of how to implement the diet over a 28 day period and more than 100 pages of delicious recipes to help you put it to use.

You get a day by day meal plan, too, so you don’t have to “decide” what you want to eat on any given day. You can just make the recipes for that day, or you can mix them up, if you like. All in all, Paleo for Beginners is a good product for the price.

The Paleo Reboot Paleo for Beginners Book is recommended.

I love the Beginners guide and the chicken recipes????? Super bomb and oddly filling despite the workout portion LOL I’m always craving the WORST stuff and this definitely helped me fight my cravings in some strange way. If anybody needs help finding here is the direct link (link removed) the shipping wasn’t that bad given that it’s a pretty hefty book with a variety to start with. I was gonna do digital but I like the feel of a physical copy of that matters to you haha
