It’s had to lose weight, and it’s really hard to lose weight by using a special diet. Most special diets consist of some sort of weird food that you have to eat all the time, like cabbage soup. If you don’t like it, you’re not going to eat it, and if you don’t eat it, you’re not going to lose weight.
That’s where Cake Weight Loss is different. Trainer Jennifer Walker, the creator of the Cake Weight Loss system, says she’s come up with a way for you to lose 10-18 pounds and 2-3 sizes in just two weeks, and you get to eat cake every day.
That sounded interesting, so I decided to take a closer look and see if the Cake Weight Loss system is worthwhile. Is Cake Weight Loss a scam, or is the method a solid one?

Cake Weight Loss Overview
The Cake Weight Loss system is sold as a series of downloadable ebooks, along with some online workout videos. The books are in PDF format, which can be read on nearly any computer device, such as smart phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
You can download the course at any time of day immediately after purchase, so you won’t have to wait for the mailman to bring it to you.
The main Cake Weight Loss book runs some 103 pages, and consists of the following chapters:
- Introduction
- The Creator Behind Cake Weight Loss
- The Cake Weight Loss Story
- How I Came About Creating Cake Weight Loss
- Today’s Biggest Weight Loss Issues
- The Reasons You Are Not Seeing Results
- Out With The Old, In With The New
- Practicing Mindfulness
- How Hormones Are Controlling Your Weight
- What Do We Eat That Interferes With Our Hormones?
- Why Eating Cake Will Make You Lose Weight
- The Beachy Bikini Body System
- The Cake Weight Loss Plan
- Recipes
Parts of the Cake Weight Loss system are dramatically different from other plans you might have tried, but other parts are very similar. Author Jennifer Walker will remind you that you should only eat when you’re really hungry, and not just any old time you feel like it.
She also warns that you should avoid certain foods in your diet, and you’ll recognize them, because they’re the same foods you’ll see on nearly every “do not eat” list – complex carbs, sugars, saturated fats, and hormone-fed beef. She recommends alternative sweeteners and recommends that you minimize your consumption of some of these other fat-inducing foods.
The book opens with the usual sort of story about the author, her weight history, and how she came to “discover” the secret that she’ll share in the Cake Weight Loss system. There are also chapters about the importance of hormones in regulating our weight, as well as the importance of having the right mental attitude when trying to lose weight.
Then you get to the “cake,” which is something you’ll get to eat every day for breakfast, along with some other things that are good for you, such as a feta omelette. The cake is truly cake, complete with frosting, but you will make it using a recipe that Jennifer provides in the book.
That cake recipe includes a number of healthy ingredients, and avoids some of the things you shouldn’t be eating on a regular basis. So the fats and sweeteners are healthy ones, for instance. The recipe for the cake gives you a rich, calorie-dense food that helps you get your day started, as Jennifer says that people who eat a calorie-dense breakfast tend to lose more weight than people who do not.
If there’s a downside to the cake recipe, it’s that the recipe calls for an ingredient called Athletic Greens, which I’ve seen offered for sale through a number of diet books. There are several pages in the book devoted to encouraging you to buy Athletic Greens, which are a somewhat expensive dietary supplement.
The Cake Weight loss system includes 28 days of meal plans, complete with recipes. Each day includes a suggested breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snacks. The snacks come from a recommended list, and the meals all include recipes.
Breakfasts include:
- Broccoli and Feta Omelette
- Pumpkin Spiced Oatmeal
- Breakfast Egg Muffins
Lunches include:
- Crunchy Tuna Wrap
- Mediterranean Burger
- Black Bean Burrito
Dinners include:
- BBQ Turkey Burgers
- Salmon Teriyaki
- Grilled Fish with Chipotle Avocado Cream
There are also recipes for snacks and smoothies, and every day you’ll be told what to eat for each meal. The recipes are easy to prepare, use common ingredients that you should be able to find most anywhere, and look to be quite tasty.
The workout videos are available online, and are divided into two sets – one for men and one for women. Each of the four videos runs about 10 minutes, and you’ll need access to gym equipment in order to fully utilize the workouts.
The videos are only available online, and did not appear to be available in downloadable format, nor were they optimized for mobile.
The recipes in the Cake Weight Loss system appear to be nutritionally sound, and the book is well written and easy to follow. If you exercise regularly and follow the diet plan as outlined, I suspect you’ll see good results from the Cake Weight Loss system.
Pros and Cons of Cake Weight Loss
Pros
- Well-written book
- Affordable
- Tasty and easy-to-prepare recipes
Cons
- Videos not optimized for mobile or downloadable
- Upsells for Athletic Greens
Cake Weight Loss Summary
The idea of eating cake for breakfast is going to appeal to a lot of people, especially those with a taste for sweets. Of course, you’re not going to only be eating cake; it’s just part of a sound overall diet plan that includes a healthy amount of exercise, too.
If you follow the plan that’s outlined in the Cake Weight Loss system, I think you’ll have good results. I don’t like the upsells for Athletic Greens, but you can substitute a similar product to get a cake that should be close to the one included in the recipe if you’re not interested in paying for that somewhat-expensive suppliement.
Otherwise, Cake Weight Loss appears to be a pretty good program.
Cake Weight Loss is recommended.
