Bodyweight Flow says they can make it easy for you to lose weight and get fit and that their system can show you how to burn 53% more calories in just two minutes. Not only that, but you can do it in about 45 minutes per week. That sounded interesting, as I’m always on the lookout for weight loss programs that don’t involve working out 24/7, because the easier it is to get started, the more likely people are to try it. So I decided to take a closer look and see what Bodyweight Flow is all about. Is Bodyweight Flow a scam, or is it the real deal?

Bodyweight Flow Overview
Bodyweight Flow is a workout program by Tyler Bramlett and Sylvia Favela, and it’s designed to help you burn calories without having to go on a super-restrictive diet or turn into a workout fiend who never leaves the gym. As with most products, the Bodyweight Flow program is divided into a mixture of downloadable books and online videos.
The Bodyweight Flow program consists of:
- The Bodyweight Flow Quick Start Guide
- 21 Follow-Along Upper Body Routines
- 21 Follow-Along Lower Body Routines
- 21 Follow-Along Full Body Routines
- (Secret bonus) 7 Day Fat Loss Flow Nutrition Guide
You’ll also receive these bonuses:
- Daily Flow Calendar
- Exercise Pairing Guide
- 14 – Ten Minute Routines
- 14 – Twenty Minute Routines
- 14 – Thirty Minute Routines
The Bodyweight Flow Quick Start Guide is exactly that, as it only runs 5 pages. Still, it’s an important five pages, as it explains the idea of the “flow” of the system. In short, the Bodyweight Flow system involves a series of relatively simple exercises that only take about two minutes to complete.
It’s recommended that you simply pick a group, and pick a level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) and then simply follow along with the videos. There’s a fair amount of flexibility in the Bodyweight Flow program, as you can choose the bodyweight exercises based on whether you want to work on upper body, lower body, or full body. You can even mix and match them, and the included Exercise Pairing Guide will show you how to group your exercises together based on the part of the body you’d like to work on or on the kind of exercise you’d like to do (squatting, cross-training, running.)
The videos are short, and each runs about three minutes long. In each video, Tyler and Sylvia demonstrate how to perform each exercise. The videos appear to be professionally shot, and they’re well lighted and (for a change) have good audio, too. The page indicated that the videos were downloadable, but I couldn’t find a download link. Perhaps I just missed it, but if it’s not there, then you can still watch the videos online.
The exercises are easy to follow and don’t require much in the way of special equipment. This will be great for people who don’t own a lot of equipment or who don’t belong to a gym. If you have some free floor space and a floor mat, you’ll be ready to get started with the Bodyweight Flow system.
The included bonus Routine books show you how to create workouts of 10, 20, or 30 minutes from the two minute exercises, again showing you how to organize the simple exercises in ways that make sense.
One additional bonus book that may be helpful for those who are interested in the system is the 7 Day Fat Loos Flow Diet. This system is rather interesting, in that it doesn’t offer a single diet plan for helping you lose weight. Instead, Tyler offers 7 different ones, and you can choose which one you want to use on any given day:
- Diet #1 – Paleo
- Diet #2 – Low Fat, High Protein
- Diet #3 – Low Carb, High Protein
- Diet #4 – Intermittent Fasting Option 1
- Diet #5 – Intermittent Fasting Option 2
- Diet #6 – 1/2 Cheat Day
- Diet #7 – Juice Cleanse
By having flexibility in both your diet and your workout routine, you’ll be more likely to find something you like and that means you’ll be more likely to stick with it over time. After all, the best weight loss program for anyone is the one they actually use. If you don’t use it, then it’s worthless, even if the program has merit.
All in all, the Bodyweight Flow is a pretty well-thought-out program that offers some simple exercises that most people will enjoy. If you combine the exercises with the diet recommendations, chances are you’ll see some good results.
Pros and Cons of Bodyweight Flow
Pros
- Simple exercises
- Videos are well produced and easy to follow
- Diet plan is simple and offers flexibility
Cons
- Mixture of books and videos is somewhat awkward
- Videos may not be downloadable
Bodyweight Flow Summary
The Bodyweight Flow exercises are easy to do and don’t require special equipment. The diet plan is surprisingly flexible, and that means you’ll be likely to find something that works for you, too. As I said, the only program that’s going to work is one that you actually try, so more flexibility means you’ll be more likely to give it a shot. The Bodyweight Flow program is also affordable, which is also a bonus.
Bodyweight Flow is recommended.
